​2018 NC Disaster Symposium – North ​Carolina ​is ​rich ​with ​emergency ​preparedness ​programs, from ​Health ​and ​Medical, ​Agriculture, ​Search ​and ​Rescue, ​Haz-Mat, ​Emergency ​Management, ​and ​a ​military ​Weapons ​of ​Mass ​Destruction ​support ​team. ​The NC Disaster Symposium ​will not only ​​showcase ​these ​response ​programs, ​but ​will ​also ​provide ​insight into ​many ​of ​the ​planning ​efforts ​that are ​currently ​in ​place, ​as ​well ​as ​a ​few ​that ​are ​forthcoming. ​
